Product Care

To keep your wooden piece in a well conditioned state, we recommend a light rub with a natural Bees Wax product every now and again. These can be bought at any hardware store, supermarkets or shoe stores. Make sure the product is safe for contact to skin.

For pieces that have coloured resin in them such as earrings, the suns UV rays can naturally diminish the saturation of the colour over time. To help prevent this fading, we have selected quality pigments that are designed for longevity. You can however further extend the colour lifespan of your item, by ensuring they are not stored in direct sunlight.

As many of our products are predominantly made from wood, common sense care should be employed to ensure they have a long life. We recommend that you do not swim or shower with any of our products on, as this can cause the conditioning oils/waxes to be washed off, which will dull and shorten the life of the piece, as well as potentially effect any glues used. Our pendant’s supplied cord will naturally age with wear, and should be replaced with one of suitable length periodically.

For our some of our Copper Earrings it is important to note that the metal will naturally tarnish over time. This we feel is a look to be celebrated – but if it is not for you – you can easily give a touch up with any metal cleanser. We do however ask that you avoid soaking your earrings, as this may cause damage to the UV Enamel. They are splash proof but not soak proof.

We can and do also offer a method of treating your copper, however this does take time and will have a fee of $30 to do so, you can initiate this by contacting us.  Any earrings that have been treated should not tarnish for a good few years - you do not need to clean these, but you should still give the hooks a frequent maintenance wipe.

Finally it is important to treat all of our products with care, as hard knocks/drops and impacts can lead to dents or damage to the piece. This is particularly so for our earrings, as naturally the smaller the item the more delicate they are. However if you treat them well and store them safely – you will be able to go on many adventures together!
