Ash Pendant with Orthoceras Fossil and Walnut

This unique pendant has been lovingly crafted from a gorgeous piece of repurposed Ash. 

It has also been set with a striking Orthoceras Fossil that is believed to be millions of years old and comes from a cephalopod, that was related to both the squid and the Nautilus.  In the pendant the fossil has been surrounded by Brass and features an asymmetrical inlay of Walnut on the top of the piece.

Did you know that for hundreds of years, ash trees have been used as a symbol of healing, magic and life. In fact in Norse mythology 'Yggdrasil' - was a sacred ash tree which encompassed all Nine Worlds within the cosmos.

The Pendant hangs from a 1.4mm Adjustable Black Nylon Cord.

Length:  Approx 65mm.

Widest point:  38mm 

Depth:  5mm however the Gemstone protrudes slightly making a total depth of 12-13mm.

This pendant fits easily in the palm of a small hand and is perfect to hold onto while wearing.
