Hydra Constellation and Swamp Kauri Pendant

This unique pendant has been lovingly crafted from a gorgeous piece of NZ's own Swamp Kauri and lovingly inlaid with Copper, Aluminium and Brass to represent the Constellation of Hydra.  Hydra is the largest of constellations with the brightest star Alphard being represented in Brass. It is a perfect pendant for a star lover, whilst connecting them to our gorgeous country with Native Wood.

Swamp Kauri which is also known as Ancient Kauri, comes from Kauri trees that have been buried and preserved in peat swamps for between 800 and 60,000 years making it such a special part of NZ's heritage. This pendant is a large size due to its length.
